Anthony attended college at one of the local community colleges and obtained his Associates in Arts degree before transferring to Arizona State University where he obtained a degree in Political Science. During that time, he helped establish the Model United Nations organization on campus, interned with the Arizona Students' Association, and explored various and backgrounds through friendship and community outreach.
Anthony Stuertzel grew up playing Japanese Roleplaying Games or JRPGs. In particular, he enjoyed the Final Fantasy series, but also was always fascinated and intrigued by the Dragon Quest series.
Anthony was first introduced to Dungeons and Dragons in middle school and played the game for the first time with a group of friends during lunch hour. He would later play the game more heavily throughout his college years and still enjoys playing today.
Anthony began developing the world of Mithia in late 2018 after deciding that the Forgotten Realms world setting was too limited and wanting to have more creative freedom in his story telling. He is currently writing Tiemriel's Revenge, his first fantasy novel, which should hopefully be available on shelves soon.
